Start Strong

Seed Coat replaces talc/graphite plus provides a nutritional component (2S 2Zn 2Mn) and vital amino acid and enzyme building blocks to promote early season biological activity around the seed and optimize early root development.

PowerStart (6-21-3 2S) Neutral starter that when applied lowers pH in the root zone to release additional tied up nutrients in alkaline environments. Contains BioLiNE fulvic acid for early stress tolerance/increased nutrient uptake and CanGrow actives for optimum seed establishment. Can be customized for additional micros (Zn, Mg, Mn) and stress relievers for poor conditions.

PowerBand (NPS or NPKS) neutral solutions that lower pH in the 2×2 zone to release additional tied up nutrients. Contains BioLiNE fulvic acid to increase nutrient uptake. Optional addition of micros, CanGrow Actives and/or stress relievers.

Stay Strong

UnLeash is the best of a microbial bio-fertility and residue manager/recycler all in one. Teams of organisms that release tied up soil nutrients and release nutrients from residue. Compatible with herbicides or fungicides.

NitroK Mag solutions provide stabilized amine N for increased uptake and maximum efficiency. Potassium supports late season corn needs and magnesium optimizes photosynthesis. BioLiNE fulvic acid for enhanced nutrient efficiency. Optional addition on Zn, B, and/or Mn for plant support.

Max Impact (4-20-0 0.9S 0.2Mg 0.6Zn 0.4Mn 0.2Fe 0.1Cu) was built to increase plant energy and supply a multiple micronutrient base to reduce field variability. Compatible with herbicides or fungicides.

Boron Plus or N-Sure are a full compliment of highly effective micros to alleviate nutrient deficiencies based on agronomic observations and/or soil/tissue testing.

Finish Strong

Nexxus increases the movement of carbohydrates from the source (plant, roots) to sink (ear) faster which results in a denser fill improving yield and quality.

Plus Up Partner Solutions

Corn Power Pack is a combination of Zn and BioLiNE fulvic acid that can be added to non-CanGrow corn starters for additional nutrient support and higher nutrient efficiency.

BioLiNE Gold is a highly concentrated and pure fulvic acid that reduces plant abiotic stress and increases nutrient use efficiency. Highly compatible with other nutritional starters, foliars, fungicides, herbicides, or insecticides.

SilageMax for silage corn is a fluid fertilizer program designed to help dairy producers increase milk production per acre. The DairyMax program improves plant health, vigour, tonnage and fibre digestibility – resulting in higher profits per litre.

Neutral pH Solution

1. Hopper Box Treatment

Seed Coat dry seed hopper box treatment. A biostimulant blend of vitamins, amino acids, and nutrients formulated to enhance microbial activity in the soil surrounding the seed. Healthy microbes are critical for good root development and emergence.

2. In furrow & 2×2

Use CanGrow PowerStart neutral, low pH forming, NPKS formulations to provide early nutrition for corn to power out of the ground and stay strong. PowerStart products can include a complete micronutrient package, Bio-Forge, PercPlus and rooting hormones.

3. Foliar early

Apply MicroVite Xtra for a micronutrient boost along with bio stimulant activity for energy through early reproduction.

4. Sidedress

NitroK Mag formulations provide not only plant friendly ammonia and amine nitrogen, but also combines potash (K) critical for making sugars and finishing kernel fill with magnesium (Mg), a building block for photosynthesis and key in moving sugars to the ears.

ReSTore seed treatment is a team of multiple naturally occurring microbes that promote germination, provide more robust root systems and plant vigour. Microbes also offer bio-fertility by increasing the availability of nutrients in the soil.

ReNew is a diverse team of beneficial microorganisms that provide plant enhancement capabilities including vitamin/hormone production, nutrient releasers, and stress reducers.

Stay Strong

UnLeash is the best of a microbial bio-fertility and residue management/recycler all in one. Teams of organisms that release tied up soil nutrients and release nutrients from residue. Can be applied with crop protection products such as herbicides or fungicides.

Max Impact (4-20-0 0.9S 0.2Mg 0.6Zn 0.4Mn 0.2Fe 0.1Cu) was built to increase plant energy and supply a strong base of micronutrients going into reproductive plant phases to keep more flowers and develop more seeds per pod.

Manganese Plus, Boron Plus, and CoMo are a full compliment of highly effective micros to alleviate nutrient deficiencies or address agronomic concerns including reducing herbicide stress, abiotic stress relief from too hot, dry or wet, re-invigorating roots or nodules.

Finish Strong

CropKarb (8N 18K 0.375B) is to be applied at heavy blooming, sizing or bulking to increase seed size and weight.

Soy Power Pack is a combination of Zn, Mn, and BioLiNE fulvic acid that can be added to competitive soybean starters for additional nutrient support and higher nutrient efficiency.

Solution

1. Prepare and Protect Seed

Use CanGrow Super Sta-Dry to dry your seed, keep planter cups dry and provide added protection to keep plant vigour when it’s most needed. Super Sta-Dry contains calcium enhanced with amino acids and enzymes for early seed growth and natural agents which promote drying and corking over.

2. In-Furrow Early Root Growth Treatment

Next apply PowerStart, with micros in-furrow with seed. Power Start is a phosphate activator that enhances plant vigour. It ramps up plant metabolism and boosts root development, tuber initiation and retention. Best of all, PowerStart reduces application rates through better placement and more efficient conversion of phosphates for your potato crop.

3. Root Enhancement and Disease Protection

Spray UpStart into the cover soil at planting. Upstart provides calcium to aid in prevention of early root diseases and flocculate sodium out of the tuber zone. It’s 400 times more soluble than gypsum. UpStart includes controlled release amine nitrogen, the form that encourages root growth instead of lush vegetative growth found with other N sources. It increases ammonium, potassium and phosphorous uptake.

UpStart is also applied as a hiller amendment to provide additional nutrient placement, improve soil structure in the tuber zone and increase soil biological activity.

4. Continued Plant Growth Control

Apply PivotPower with boron and zinc through the pivot 1, 2 or 3 times a season. PivotPower is designed to control plant growth through nutrition. It mitigates early die symptoms and continues sodium flocculation.

5. Feed and Enhance Crop Performance

CropKarb is a combination of nutrients using “next generation” technology, designed to enhance root activity while improving fruit sizing and bulking in your potato crop.

CropKarb works by delivering active catalyst chemistry with a supplemental mobile carbon source to the fruiting portion of your crop. It includes boron to help set and hold more of the youngest fruit and potassium to improve fruit sizing and bulking.

Grower Observations

In 2004, 2005, and 2006 we tried just about anything … a lot of reaction situations and we were losing bins every year. Foliar sprays were helping, but often too little, too late. Last year we applied 20 L/acre PowerStart and cut back our N by 40 lbs/acre. We applied three 20 L/acre irrigation applications of Pivot Power. We had a Frito Day with all the growers and they commented on the fact that the fields were too healthy.

We had to kill the potatoes in the middle of August; they were way too green.

Next year we’re using the same program, but we are going to cut our N by another 40 pounds.

Establishment Solution

1. Hopper Box Treatment

Seed Coat dry seed hopper box treatment. A bio stimulant blend of vitamins, amino acids, and nutrients formulated to enhance microbial activity in the soil surrounding the seed. Healthy microbes are critical for good root development and emergence. Direct seeding is recommended.

2. Weed Control Foliar

Perc N Phos (US – PercPlus) with herbicide to mitigate the herbicide stress, especially if using a phenoxy, and quickly take down large perennial weeds.

Relief BF, Sugar Mover and Boron

Established Alfalfa Solution

1. Spring Green Up

AlfaMax Green Up Strip Band or Stream to give 20 lbs/acre nitrogen (depending upon later manure to feed the grass until Nitrogen from manure and soil become available.

2. Stubble Spray

AlfaMax within 3-4 days of each cutting to dramatically increase number of shoots per crown and energize the root system for the next cutting.

3. Winterize

AlfaMax Winter after last cut to mitigate fall wet and winter stress and to set up next year’s first cutting. Boost soil biology and improve both soil health and nutrient transfer to roots.
